APP2Speak Lite serves as a photo-based Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) application designed for individuals who face challenges with speech and communication. This tool benefits a wide range of users, including those recovering from strokes, individuals diagnosed with aphasia, apraxia, brain injuries, Parkinson’s Disease, ALS, Autism, and various other conditions affecting speech capabilities.

Crafted by an ASHA-certified Speech Language Pathologist, APP2Speak Lite is compatible with iPads and iPhones operating on iOS 8.0 or later.

The app allows users to initiate conversation effortlessly by selecting images. Whether expressing a need for a glass of water or engaging in social dialogue, APP2Speak Lite facilitates connection by enabling users to communicate their desires seamlessly.

Featuring a set of 20 preprogrammed images paired with corresponding words or phrases, APP2Speak Lite aids users in articulating immediate wants and needs. Furthermore, the app boasts customization capabilities; individuals can create personalized phrases using their own images or capture new photos directly within the app (limited to five images in the Lite version). Users can also record familiar voices to enhance personal touch in their interactions.
